This tall six-light Perpendicular window holds the important
position behind the high altar.
A transom cuts right across the lights with pointed arches beneath,
whilst the tops of the lights end in ogee arches. These ogee points
continue upwards as mullions and the lower mullions are also
extended so that the six-light window effectively becomes
twelve-light in the tracery.
This window has four smaller transoms in the tracery. The
general grid effect is somewhat relieved by the sub-arches and the
use of Y-tracery
