Compared with the other Lady Chapel windows this one, although
still lively, shows more restraint.
The outer pairs of lights separate clearly from the central part of
the window and so form delightful two-light 'sub-windows'. Under
their sub-arches are shapes resembling a candle flame or tulip
head,
The central light has an ogee head and this leads the eye to the
upper part of the window which is filled with five quatrefoils
arranged like the petals of a flower. However, the straight edges
of the 'petals' meeting at the centre of the 'flower' give a more
rigid feel here than in the tracery in the rest of the window.
